Identify a potential consultancy engagement within your own organisation or one with which you are familiar (or have researched.
Using relevant diagnostic tools identify the main drivers for the change(s) required and the resultant issues requiring management action. Assess the skills/knowledge required and make a case for consultancy intervention. In particular justify the leadership and problem solving skills required and any team building requirements.
You should address all the elements of the assignment task and your assignment should show clearly where each element of the task is answered, ideally with separate sections for each element.

The course work should be written from the viewpoint of you as someone trying to recommend to the organisation that they engage consultants and thus how would you do that. what needs to be done, why not do it in-house, how much will it cost, what type of people would we need as consultants etc.
So the question is asking you to apply some selected models to your identified problem and identify the real issues that would require help – from that determine the actions required and make out a case that consultants are the best approach.
